Looks like a packed weekend. I could probably host a discussion about abuse of the platform. I would look to get there for about lunchtime on the Friday. Looking at hotels it may be simpler to just go for something like the Holiday Inn by the football stadium which is a reasonable distance from parkrun and the venue. You know what you are getting with those. I know @revisesociology is planning to come, so I may coordinate with him on that.

Maybe we can have a get-together of Steemians on Friday evening for a meal and chat. There never seems to be enough time to discuss everything at these events. I can probably leave latish on Saturday if people want to go out that evening. It's only about 90 minutes to get home.

I agree about the hotel - I tend to go with Premier Inn for the same reason. That Holiday Inn is quite nice, I think, I've been to a few events there. I'm not sure what's happening with the football that weekend, so maybe a good idea to book early. I think @gillianpearce may be interested, too.

Hosting a session would be great: I hope other people will offer ideas, too, it would be good to have five or six to offer people ... only two or three more to go, in that case.

It would be good to have a meal, too, either or both evenings.

Looks like a good time. The free nature of Steem is what attracted me. Actually I have never invested a penny in. I invested time and have taken a little out. I am still a believer ;)

Amazing effort I have been trying to get something like this going myself for a while great to see it come to fruition through you. Unfortunately I am away well flying back that day so won't make it gutted but fully support this and hope to attend in the future 💯🐒

Looks like I missed this post when it went out however I wanted to comment to say that I sadly won’t be able to make that date anymore!

I’m gutted to miss it but I do have a good reason... I’m off to the USA! (From 17th - 27th April!)

So it’s atleast some big things happening and not just some slacking off on my part.
I was buzzing at the idea of attending SteemCamp again and will be sad to miss out on it 😕

However I take opportunities when they come and I can’t turn this one down in the US!

I hope you are well and hope to catch up another time X
