The Lord's Prayer can also be called Our Father, Jesus taught as the way to pray according to the new Testament of the Holy Bible.

The Lord's Prayer

"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

The Lord's prayer may seems short but from what l just read today from you @abiye means God is wonderful and has really spoken to us through you..God bless you

I love the way you analyze the lords prayer, this is insightful, thanks for sharing this with us...

Jesus taught us how to pray, he gave the order in which we set our priorities in prayers. It is said that we receive not when we pray cause we pray amiss or ask wrongly, then jesus taught the Lords prayer

Christ when he came to the earth has given us power and authority to always be with him in prayer .
He gave example of what we should be praying for everyday
The bible no matter the version or language fussed into it will still remain the same if nothing is added or removed on its interpretation.
God had given it to us even before we are born , but it us left for us to accept the bible which is His word in truth and in spirit and the truth on how to pray will always be reviewed to us

Nice one,Jesus Christ taught his disciples the lords prayer,we should always pray to our father in heaven, for he will always answer us.

Prayers change things

The Lord's Prayer is important to Christians because it is what Jesus gave to his disciples as a form of prayer when they asked him to teach them how to pray.

Thanks for this analysis @abiye

If we strictly take our Lords prayer into consideration.
We will learn to forgive easily knowing that God is committed in forgiving us our sins then we ought to forgive others.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us" It simply explains God forgiving us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, in this prayer "trespasses....are those who trespass against us"

Jesus taught his disciples to pray in this manner, in fact, it was he who laid down the template for Christian alike, your analysis is pretty top notch, thank you for sharing this morning.

Nice one,Jesus Christ taught his disciples the lords prayer,we should always pray to our father in heaven, for he will always answer us.

This is a great breakdown of what our Lord's prayer is all about.
If we can confined within this, we wont be in tensed of chasing shadow.

"Give us this day our daily bread" it simply explains that God should provide our daily needs, we should believe in God that he can supply our needs according to His riches in heaven.
