The Journey Through The Red Sea

How scary it would have been in the days of Moses when he was left to lead the Israelites through to the Promised Land, with such responsibility, Moses knew he had to depend on only one person, GOD. At that moment no one could deliver them and Moses cried out to GOD, and they were delivered.

Their enemies passed through that same sea and drowned, this rings something in our heart. GOD will always deliver His own. A friend of GOD is sure that GOD will always fight for him no matter how hard the situation is.

GOD proved this when the waters stood still for the Israelites to pass through and made that same water open up and swallow their enemies.

When you are right with GOD, the things created by GOD obeys you, if they obey GOD, they will obey you because for as many that believe He gave them power to become the sons of GOD, do not fret.

Red sea is a boundary, a limitation that brings fear and stops you from crossing over to the other side, a lot of people drown in the red sea because they do not allow GOD take them through it.

No problem can be solved if GOD is not involved, no red sea is divided if GOD does not divide it and that's why JESUS said that all who labour should come to Him and rest is assured in Him.

It does not matter what you do, what matters is what GOD does. The Israelites only cried and that could not save them, they lamented and cursed Moses but that did not deliver them.GOD can and will divide every Red Sea for you.

“So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.” (Exodus 3:8)

When Moses took the Israelites out of Egypt, he could have made it to Canaan in a little more than a week, even though he was shepherding over two million men, women and children. Of course, we know that was not the route taken.
Instead, he took them on a route that began a 40-year journey and involved the need for God to perform yet another miracle: the parting of the Red Sea.
Moses did not choose this route because he was confused and lost, as depicted in the movie Exodus: Gods and Kings, starring Christian Bale as Moses,
Moses did not act on his own either; he was guided by the God of Israel every step of the way.
But why would God choose such a long route when there was a shorter, more obvious direct route? Though we touched on this answer in Parasha Beshalach, let’s go even deeper and look at seven significant lessons God wants us to learn as we remember the journey of His children from bondage through the Red Sea to freedom.

Seven Lessons Learned in the Long Way
Efficiency is king in this modern age. The shortest, most direct route seems like it is always the correct way to go.

Let us consider some possible reasons why the shortest route may not be the best route for us, and why it was not the best route for the Israelites:

The shortest route would have taken the Israelites through hostile Philistine country. They were not prepared to encounter such hostility. “For God said, ‘If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.’ So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.” (Exodus 13:17–18) Moses left Egypt with an army of mostly broken souls who had spent the last eight to ten generations as slaves in Egypt. To reach Canaan, they would have to fight the Moabites, the Amalekites, and several other nations before actually having to confront the cities and tribes of Canaan itself. The Hebrew tribes were in no condition at that time to undertake such a challenge. God sometimes brings us the long way because we are mentally, emotionally, and spiritually unprepared to face what awaits us along the short route or at the end of our journey.

Thanks @abiye true only God is a solution now for such a long time people always thought that money will solve 99% of their problems but no it is God that does the 99% and money does the 1% of our lives . Obedience opens so many doors and it is what makes us christians more than conquerers

The journey through the red sea was really a turning point, in the life of a Christian we must know that trials and persecution are our red sea, and the only way to get out of them is to seek the face of God through prayers, the truth is mankind takes to complaining when their needs and demands are not Met, the truth is, complaining and murmuring doesn't solve problems.
The journey of the Israelites through the red sea is a lesson and we must learn from it.

Thanks for the write up. God is able to do all things both in the past and in the presents. My God is able to do all things.
Thanks for sharing.

It's indeed God's doing and not ours. God is ever ready to bless us and take us through, it's only our complaints and insincerity that is depriving us.
Thanks for sharing this message @abiye. I'm really blessed

great notification from you a debt of gratitude is in order for sharing

great post "No problem can be solved if GOD is not involved" 100% right

What a lovely perusing, here and there that transpires throughout everyday life, the issue encompasses us and there comes a period when God opens the issue for us to pass. For our God there are no restrictions and what man appears to be inconceivable or improbable for God is anything but difficult to perform, we should begin accepting and trust more in what each dui has for every one and that nothing will ever turn out badly with us.

For our God there are no limits and what man seems impossible or unlikely for God is easy to perform, we should start believing and trust more in what each dui has for each one and that nothing will ever go wrong with us.

Thanks for refreshing us with this.

Whenever we are faced with any form of challenge, we need to just focus on God and follow all that he says, even when we don't see any way out we need to follow his path and instructions because he always knows the way out.

What a beautiful reading, sometimes that happens to us in life, the problem surrounds us and there comes a time when God opens the problem for us to pass.

Very true. The primary thing that matters in our lives if we want to achieve real breakthrough is for God to be in charge over our lives, any other thing is secondary, and rarely matters in equation of his designed success for us.
