Proverbs 16: 1
From man are the dispositions of the heart;
But of Jehovah is the answer of the tongue.
All human beings want to achieve something, dream of an expected moment or carry out what we have been dreaming for a long time. When the answer of God is "NO", it is a response that we do not want to hear, much less wait for it, since this often makes us think that God does not care about our desires and our goals.
imagine just for a moment that you are about to realize a dream that has been in your heart, that you long for it for a long time and when you have everything planned missing just one step to give you ask God for help and suddenly your answer is "DO NOT".
Many are discouraged to the point that they bury their dreams, believe that God is not on their side and that they will never give them what they asked for or something greater. When that moment arrives the majority does not understand it, but we must be sure that the NO of God is the most accurate answer and that everything is part of God's plan for your life.
In my journey I have had experiences in which the NO of God is because it was not the moment or I have not been prepared to receive what I am asking, but I have understood it with the wisdom that comes from above and even God He has given more than what I have asked him when I have been able to wait.
To understand this we must go to HIS word, inquire into it and find examples of great men in the Bible to whom God told them "NO".

When King David prayed and fasted God for the child (2 Samuel 12: 16-23), he poured out his heart before God to live, but God's answer was a NO. In spite of this David did not deny God, he did not claim anything from God, but in wisdom he responded to his servants:
20 Then David arose from the earth, and washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes, and went into the house of the LORD, and worshiped. Then he came to his house, and asked, and they put bread on him, and he ate.
21 And his servants said to him, What is this that you have done? For the child, still living, you fasted and wept; and he died, you got up and ate bread.
22 And he answered, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept, saying, Who knows if God will have compassion on me, and that the child will live?
23 But now that he has died, why should I fast? Can I make him come back? I'm going to him, but he will not come back to me. "
David believed that God could change what he had said through the prophet, but God did not grant him what he asked for, he accepted the will of God, so we must do ourselves and continue.
In Numbers 20: 8-12 we find a passage where God tells Moses and Aaron that the congregation would enter the promised land because they did not believe in Him.
The sin of Moses was not to believe in God to sanctify him before the children of Israel. God tells him that he will no longer lead the people through the promised land, that is to say Moses God would not let him enter the promised land and we know that he who led the people was not him, but Joshua.
After this, God maintains that Moses will NOT enter the promised land, but he could see it before he dies. Moses also accepted the NO of God, and we know that Moses is a servant of God, I speak with Jesus in the transfiguration. The fact that God says NO, does not mean that a person is not his son or is not loved by him.
Jesus himself prayed to God the Father asking him if he could remove the death of the cross, even though he immediately prayed, "but not my will be done, but yours."
Luke 22: 42-44
42 saying, Father, if you will, this cup passes from me; but not my will be done, but yours.
43 And an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen him.
44 And being in agony, he prayed more intensely; and it was his sweat like great drops of blood that fell to the ground.
God's answer was NO, and Jesus gave his life so that all of us would be saved.
Christians will go through various tests, the Bible says, you should not think that because we are Christians we will not have tribulations, but the great difference is that if we have our faith in Jesus everything will help us for good.
When we face a hard situation we should not complain to God, rather we pray for this situation, we learn from David, who did not receive the miracle he fasted and prayed for, but even after this the first thing that David did was to adore God . Even if God does not grant our request, we should always thank and honor him.
God knows every situation in your life, your desires, dreams and goals. He knows what is best for you and what is the best way to get it, do not doubt that his grace and favor are on you, even if it seems that God close a door, believe that He in His infinite mercy and wisdom is doing the right thing for you.
Remember God is your maker, your help, your sustenance, your help soon, He will always act on your behalf, He knows the best for your life, wait and trust in Him and you will see good.
God bless you
When Jesus taught his disciples to pray, he taught them to ask God to do His will and not his (Mt 6). In fact, he not only taught them, but he also showed them the meaning of this prayer in his own life when he went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray to his Father.
