True love for God

Every day there are many more things, material, emotional and symbolic, that make us believe that we know happiness, happiness and fulfillment. Many times, the things we idolize are very banal things and are things that, above all things, make us forget about love: the love of God and the love of our neighbors.

We are immersed in a consumer society, where having a better car, a better house, a better cell phone or a better job is more important than loving our neighbors more, loving what we do, loving life, loving our faith and loving God. We believe that we know a lot about our world but we superimpose knowledge and technology over love.

There is nothing wrong with knowledge, if it is used with love of God and love of neighbor. We simply can not let the things that we do every day, that the things we believe we work for, because we want them with anger - material things -, become the center of our tasks or the missions of our lives.

We are here to love, not to consume. We are here to know, yes, but to use that knowledge to build a world of love, of faith and full of the teachings of Jesus.

The true knowledge, the one that prevails the love of the Lord, is only with Him. We have the daily opportunity to evolve, to be better people, to know a little more about the miracle of life, to be rational, but we also have the responsibility, as well as the miraculous possibility, of loving. Love our equals, love our families, love our professions, love our studies, love our church and love the faith.

We do not know anything or know anything truly if we can not see life with eyes of faith and love. We can not be truly connected with the Kingdom of Heaven and with God, if we do not preach his word and the actions that He expects from us.

We know well what things are right and what things are wrong before the divine judgment. We also know that we are human and that we have the greatest imperfection: sin. Loving life is the result of constant training to which we submit each day. Every hour, every minute, we must try to love everything that happens to us, until finally we achieve it.

There are times when loving life is not easy, because we will be going through difficult times. However, in those moments we must remember that God's love for us is infinite and that He is the possessor of eternal knowledge; We must remember that when we feel it necessary, we can go to the lap of their love to rebuild our faith and move our lives forward.

Every day we can make the decision to live another day idolizing material things and unimportant things that give us false happiness and false pleasure, or begin to see life with eyes of love and faith, to be closer of God and, consequently, happier.
