Steemchurch- Effortless Change

It begins on the inside
The word of God clearly reveals that as you think in your heart so you are
‘’for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he- Proverbs 23:7

If you can’t change your inside, then you aren’t going to see change on the outside. You can pray, beg God and get other people to intercede for all you want. They could even lay hands on you until they rub all the hair off top of your head, but you aren’t going to see change in your life externally until you change internally

Many people say ‘’But I do desire to change. I’ve done everything I know, yet it seems like things are just continually the same’’ God’s word is true. As you think in your heart so are you. This is the law of God, Romans 8:6 confirms this truth revealing that
To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace
Before you take offense at my words, resenting and disagreeing with what I’m sharing, consider this truth. Of course, everyone has a bump in the road now and again, whether they are walking with the lord or not.

We live in a fallen world and we have an enemy that comes against us. Not every single problem is a direct result of something flawed on the inside of us. However, if your overall life is spiraling downwards, if nothing ever works and problems are all you seem to experience, then you should stop and consider that perhaps your inner man may need some work

What have you planted?

People typically respond to circumstances and situations blaming someone or something else. ‘’it’s the color of my skin. It’s my family background. I was disadvantaged. They’ll blame anybody. This person mistreated me, it’s my employer who’s not the jerk not me, it’s always somebody else’s fault

However, the word makes it clear that your experience, your surroundings- everything about you- is basically a result of the way you think. As you think in your heart, that’s the way it is. When you think spiritually minded thoughts, you get life and peace. When you don’t, you get death [Romans 8:6] you may not like that. You might be saying, ‘’No, that’s not true, but it is

If I came over to your house to see your garden

Source
I wouldn’t have had to be with you in the beginning when you sowed the seeds to know what you’ve planted. All I’d have to do is observe the plants that are growing up. If you have corn growing there, you planted corn. If there are peas, you sowed peas. You may claim someone else came and planted something in your garden you did not intend. However ultimately, it’s your responsibility to guard and protect your garden. Whatever is growing there is what you’ve planted or what you’ve allowed to be planted there
Just as this is true in the natural realm, it’s true in the spiritual realm.

Whatever is growing in the garden of your heart. Before you can really see change, you must quit using excuses and blaming anybody and everybody else for what is wrong in your life. You have to stop saying ‘’it’s just fate, or bad luck or nothing ever works for me
Scripture reveals that as you think in your heart, that’s the way you’re going to be

The knowledge of God
Second Peter 1:2 further substantiates the principle that your thought life produces a harvest in the natural realm, when it says
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord
Many people want grace and peace to be multiply to them. They desire peace in their life, and they’re praying for it. They may even be asking other people to help them get it. Actually, they’re looking for peace to come externally- from outside them into their circumstances. These words in 2 Peter reveals that peace comes through the knowledge of God
Peace in your life isn’t the absence of problems or challenging circumstances around you. God’s kind of peace is there even in the midst of a storm. It resides on the inside. Then eventually, that peace on the inside of you will begin to change your circumstances on the outside

1 Chronicles 13

As Life B-P Church will turn 54 next Lord's Day, we certainly must give all glory to God for making the church what it is today. Whatever success we have had as a church is all through His doing alone. In God's kingdom success is not measured in terms of size or attendance. Neither is it measured in financial assets nor the number of ministries and mission outreaches a church has.

Success is Doing God's Work in God's Way

In the kingdom of God, success is only evident when lives are genuinely saved from sin and eternal death, walking in the love of God, delivered from the sinful influences of the world, and nurtured through the teaching of God's Word into Christ-like men and women. Success is evident when sinners are thus transformed by the power of God into witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ. Such success can only be achieved by observing an important principle: God's Work must always be done in God's way.

One event in biblical history that demonstrates this well is the moving of the Ark of the Covenant by King David. The Ark was the most important piece of furniture in Israel. It was a gold-covered boxlike structure that had a solid gold 'mercy seat' on it, with statues of two cherubim whose wings formed an arch over the Ark. When the Israelites traveled from Egypt to the Promised Land, the Ark was carried before them, to symbolize God's leading His people there. And when the people settled down in any place, the Ark was kept within the innermost chamber of the Tabernacle, and a pillar of cloud rested on it to show that God was present among His people. Hence the Ark became the symbol of God's presence.

Wow!

A very vital and important point outlined
May God's grace totally abide in our inside configuring our actions

If you can’t change your inside, then you aren’t going to see change on the outside. Strong words Friend!

😊 Thanks for stopping by

Yes you are so correct, if we dont change in our heart there is no way changes can be made from the outside.
Thanks for sharing

Yes, the inside is the soil
Once the soil is damage, no good comes from it
We have to make sure we have an upright and pure inside to develop a good life

We should reflect What we propose, in truth we have to demonstrate forward what we are, the book of scriptures says a man is the result of his considerations, that is the reason we should mirror the change we need the world to see, it starts with us

So true @Rameelkarim
We should indeed mirror the change we need the world to see
The change we seek starts with us
If we don't practise it, it can't come to live

Good to hear from you afamefunejubilee, Thanks for sharing with Us!

We must reflect What we propose, in fact we need to show forth what we are, the bible says a man is the product of his thoughts, that's why we must reflect the change we want the world to see, it begins with us
