The refuge of the righteous.
11 In Jehovah I have trusted;
How do you say to my soul,
What escape to the mountain which bird?
2 For, behold, the wicked tend the bow,
They arrange their bolts on the rope,
To roast in concealment to the upright in heart.
3 If the fundamentals were destroyed,
What can the righteous do?
4 Jehovah is in his holy temple;
Jehovah has his throne in heaven;
Their eyes see, their eyelids examine the sons of men.
5 Jehovah tests the righteous;
But to the wicked and to the one who loves violence, his soul hates them.
6 On the bad ones it will rain calamities;
Fire, sulfur and scorching wind will be the portion of their chalice.
7 For Jehovah is righteous, and loves justice;
The righteous man will look at his face.
