Blessings today and always for all of you!
Who has fallen madly in love with someone?
This week I read a CSLewis text that talked about our behavior when we are in love. And commenting with a friend, we gave high laughter about those situations and decided to write that text.
It may seem funny but I already fell in love so much in that life that I learned some lessons and I want to share with you.
Many times we become "victims" of the consequences of hasty attitudes we took during that period.
The funniest thing is that we do things for the other that we are unable to do in a normal context, unaffected by passion.
If falling in love is good. The butterflies in the belly are incredible (I think the most), but the development of mature thinking about passion is to have control over emotions and know that our life continues to follow the same flow as before. Work, studies, activities, everything is still normal. But as the focus becomes the other, we ignore very important aspects of the day to day.
Risk, but do not give everything of you. Feel the moment and do not hurry. If it is reciprocal, you will be very happy. But if not, you will have to deal with frustration (which is sometimes very boring and long). "Falling in love consciously (if possible) protects us and makes a process healthy that if not seen with maturity, can be disastrous.
Passion is an intense feeling that exerts enthusiasm when fighting for an objective in life, and at the same time injects optimism. When we are passionate, we not only do, but we also enjoy everything we do. The results are sweeter, more exalting.
However, passion, by itself, tends to ignore or alter the psychological levels of the human being. You can take it out of your senses and cause the loss of control of the "sea soul". Hence the need to be passionate, but never bend the will and let go of the rudder, because we would be adrift in the deep waters of life.
Passion and reason are two fruits of the same tree, but they have to sprout, grow and mature together. The influence that one exerts on the other will depend, to a greater or lesser degree, on the success of our brief walk in this world. Without reason, passion is a wind vane at the mercy of the wind; Without passion, reason is a flame that is self-consumed alone.
However, some argue that there are times in life when passion only has to act. They give love relationships as an example. "In the midst of an intense love relationship, passion predominates, reason exceeds," they say.
