Daily Celestial Challenge - Sunday-Light: "You are the light of the world."

14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:14-16

The Word of God tells us that we are light, and this light does not come from us, but that it is born of God because He is Light.

God is light and there is no darkness in Him; nothing has been hidden from us, for everything has been revealed to us in the light of the Word. We can see, in a symbolic way, the contrast of the LIGHT with the DARKNESS: the light symbolizes purity, sanctity, justice and goodness; qualities that come from God, while darkness represents the condition of corruption, depravity, evil and sin of men ...

But if we are born again, if we have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, then we belong to God; and his admirable Light manifests in us and becomes visible to other people through our good testimony.

Brothers, We know that while we are in this world, we are not perfect, we have weaknesses and struggles, but leaving the weight of sin that besets us, and taking the "Armor of God", we embrace the "new life" according to God, and With our confidence placed in the Word of God, let us go forward and let His Light shine through us in the midst of this world of darkness.
