LACK OF SEX-EDUCATIONS:

Televions blaring with news of pedophiles molesting children and taking advantage of their innocence has become almost too common. Examples include Zainab, a 7 year old whose body was disposed off in garbage by the heinous man. Ayesha, even younger than 7 was also molested.
In sociology we learnt it was a common practice for the truck drivers to hire and molest young boys while they're on the road. The problem lies in the lack of sex education. Considering it a taboo topic, it is not discussed in some households at all. The result is devastating. There are so many instances where round the clock helpers at home, knowing the routine of parents and when they'll be absent, abuse the children at home. It's very easy to manipulate children and most just control them by saying if you tell your parents, they'll dislike it and they won't love you anymore. Hence, the children suffer in silence and tyranny.

But then again, whether or not to give sex education is a controversial topic. To take away the child's innocence or get them out of the misery? The latter should be chosen for the sake of the children.
Since, it's becoming more widespread. Debates have arose about introducing sex education in children's curriculum. For instance, educating a children that you should let no stranger touch you, that the child should immediately tell their parents. It's due to this lack of sex educations that some minors don't even understand they've been molested. Let alone go on reporting about it.
Wu Zongxian, a criminal law professor at Beijing Normal University referring to the matter said, " "Minors, who are physically and mentally immature and lack the ability to distinguish right from wrong, are vulnerable and easily become targets, Education is the key to preventing sexual assaults."
