Many are those who does things to rather makes the devil happy and shame our Lord Jesus Christ. But for those who follow His ways Jesus said He always celebrate our victory over the devil.
John 12:1-11
Mary showed that nothing was too precious to offer to God. She knew we can never out - give God and so , in gratitude , she gave her best . Jesus , who knows all things accepted the sacrifice as a sweet offering towards His death. But Judas Iscariot had different idea. He not only harboured the thought ; he expressed it for people to hear!
But what was his true intention? How cleverly do we also try to hide our evil intentions under noble ideas! We note that God does not punish us immediately we go against His will. Rather, He is more interested in a sinners repentance than his /her death.
Ezekiel 18:23
"Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? saith the Lord Jehovah; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?"
It is sad that the potters were unrelenting and were even ready to kill Lazarus so that there will be no evidence or living proof of Jesus' miracles. How deadly intoxicating the passion to pursue wrong and ungodly actions can be - Satan is a terrible master whose ambition is to destroy those who allow him to direct their ways.
