SCRIPTURAL TEXT
(Isaiah 40:31)
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk; and not faint."
Our opening scripture shows us what God will make happen for you when you wait upon Him; It says that He will renew your strength and cause you to soar. Where others are weary and losing strength, you will run; and where others faint, you would have the strength to keep walking and covering new grounds. But what does it mean to wait upon the Lord?
We can take a cue from a waiter in a restaurant who waits on customers to take their orders. His major focus is to listen carefully to what the customer wants and does exactly what was instructed in order to please or satisfy the customer. In a similar fashion, a believer ought to learn how to spend quality time with God in fellowship seeking to know His will and ready to do just as He says. Praise God!
Hence, it is obvious that God empowers those who wait on Him and accelerates their achievements beyond the normal pace attainable by men. So if you desire supernatural acceleration in any aspect of your life today, begin now to wait upon the Lord by listening for His voice and hearkening to His words. This is how you would position yourself to receive supernatural acceleration. Halleluyah!
