Holding on to Jesus

Are you the type that only comes to church on special occasion? When last did you honour god by being in his presence? Many people come to church for birthdays, wedding, child dedication, christmas and new year. We really need to thank God for these events that drag people to church.

Remember that on the day of your funeral, people will cook so much food in your honour; you will not be able to eat, only those who come for your funeral we eat it. On that day, no matter how big your palace is, you will be in the casket in the grave. Even if that is the only thing that you remember, is enough to humble you. With this realisation, the question is " what is your attitude to God going to be from now on?"

You should always remember that every day of your life, you are moving closer to the end. After today, the number of days you have left in this world will have been reduced by one day. I asked Somebody recently what he will do if God told him He is taking him home in a week's time. He told me he will spend a week in the sanctuary praying and praising god. How are you so sure that the number of days you have left will be enough to go to write all the wrongs you have done? Since you do not know when the end will come, why don't you start now? I pray that the consciousness of heaven we come upon each and everyone of us and from now on, in the name of Jesus. Always remember that the end is at hand and that rapture will come when none of us list imagine. That is why we have to live every day of our lives as if it is the end. I pray that you will not miss heaven, in the name of Jesus.
