BIBLE PASSAGE: Romans 8: 36-39
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Meditation: Romans 8:31, 32
If God is for us, who can be against us? He that did not hesitate to spare his own Son but gave him up for us, with him, everything else that we can need?

THE MESSAGE
Salvation is God embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst – can we not trust such a God to give us the platform for all of God's blessings. When God saves you, He will give you your space in the book of life and your name will not be blotted out for any reason. Without Jesus, life is risky. He will save you if you open your heart. As you read this devotional today and haven‘t yet received the gift of salvation, you can receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour with all your sins forgiven and a new lease of life given you.
The most precious gift of all time is salvation. It's neither something we can buy, nor something we earn by good works; Jesus purchased it for every single human being past, present and yet to be born. One important truth about the gift of salvation is that it is costly. If you wanted to express your love for someone by giving them a very fine gift, you would have to go buy it from a store. The finer the gift, the costlier it would likely be isn’t it? To your friend, it's a free gift, but it wasn't free on your part. Jesus paid the costliest price ever to purchase our salvation. Nothing can be done to supplement it. He has done it all.
