Many people live in their past and they don’t have time to focus on the future. That is one of the greatest mistakes in life. Focusing on your past flaws has a great retrogression impart on your life.

Deceive not yourself, whatever you choose to magnify (Good or bad), you will live with that. That's a fact of life. The state you find yourself now, is the outcome of the decision you made in the past. Now, those who magnify good, live a good life. Those who magnify bad obviously live the life of it.

People prefer to have a relationship at a distance than an intimate one. This is because, at a distance, people get to see what you want them to see. But when there is intimacy, they get to look into the person. I'm not surprise there is massive increase in the number of divorce cases recorded within a year.

But most importantly, instead of magnifying the wrongs of others, we should focus on and bring out the best in them. That's why it's necessary and very important to associate yourself to good people who will affect your life positively. You need to make friends with people who will bring the best out of you. Who will overlook your flaws and set backs and magnify the good things trapped inside you.

Jesus’ question in Matthew 7:3 speaks volume. He asked, “why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eyes and pay no attention to the plank in your eyes?

This statement is telling us about the law of magnifying. You can’t see the speck of sawdust in the eyes of your neighbour, unless you magnify it by getting close.

What are you magnifying? When you see something in someone else that makes you angry, it also represents something that you also have within. Everybody has issues in life but we must embrace on their strength. Instead of highlighting on people's flaws or defects why don't you rather use your energy, knowledge and your wisdom to amplify his strength and their capabilities.

You have to stop magnifying and pick a mirror and work on your weakness. Sampson neglected his weakness and it caused him his downfall. He didn't work on it. You have to start from your own self. You can’t help people you love when you are just having the same issue as them. You can’t treat people as garbage and love God. The way you love your neighbor is equal to the way you love yourself.
