CHRIST KINGDOM AND THE MILLENNIUM REIGN

The millennium is a literal period of one thousand years that will follow the return of Jesus Christ as Messiah. It has to do with a literal millennial reign of Christ and the saints that will accompany Him from heaven to earth. The millennium will witness the final fulfillment of the hopes and dreams of humanity.

When Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace rules from the Throne of David, we will finally enter into the Age of Redemption.

Apostle Paul stated that among other things, this is the inheritance which the Holy Spirit sealed believers in Christ for. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory " (Eph. 1:13-14).

The Millennium, when the Messiah rules the earth, will begin hen the great tribulation and battle of Armageddon end as stated in the earl ier chapter. The millennium is not the total duration of God's Kingdom on Earth, it is simply the first chapter of God's Eternal Kingdom.

The main focus in this chapter is to explore God's unfailing, tremendous promises concerning the exciting period known as the Biblical millennium.

Prominently, in this wonderful thousand years reign of Jesus the Messiah, there will be on the physical side "the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice (Isaiah 35:1-2).

The Dead Sea will live again and be filled with a very great multitude of fish (Ezekiel 4: 7:9). The animal kingdom will be transformed: "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, the lion shall eat straw like an ox" (Isaiah 65:25). Mankind will once again administer the Earth (I mean the Redeemed of theLord) as Adam and Evc were originally created to do.

The most exciting and fascinating of all to look forward to, the Earth's citizens, the transformation that will obtain. There will no longer be war or bigotry, and the chosen people will receive a new Spirit that will cause them the desire to obey God,

The inhabitants of the earth will learn righteousness by means of His judgments.

The twelve Apostles will be assigned by the King of Kings to rule the twelve tribes of Israel Ruler ship in the kingdom shall be a matter of reward. "And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saint of the most high, whose kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Jesus said unto then? (Apostles) verily I say unto you, That which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the Throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Matthew 19:28).
