In this verse we can see how the Lord declares to us that He alone is God and outside of Him there is no other god, understanding that the only thing we should ask and thank Him is He who is the only and sovereign and that without Him we can do nothing. Outside of Him there is nothing and no one who can do the things He does. He is the only one who offers us eternal life.
