BEING A TEAM PLAYER WITH JESUS (ALPHABET G)

GOSPEL OF GRACE
Grace is unmerited favour. Grace is all embracing in kingdom assignment in the first place, the reason we are enlisted or appointed or called is because of the gospel of grace. Good news about what Jesus did for mankind to his death, burial and resurrection and the promise of abundant life for all who dare to believe in the finished work of Jesus.

Grace as some people think is not another doctrine. It is the person of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. It is about the good news of God's undeserved, unmerited, unearned favour bestowed on man especially those who chose to accept Jesus as lord and personal saviour. Grace for which the gospel is all about can be defined as God's unmerited favour. God has appointed him to do. Grace makes you a winner over sin, sickness, disease and forces of darkness.

Grace is the sweet less effort of getting the kingdom assignment, with maximum productivity. Grace causes one to go where others have notp gone reaching where no one else have reached and truly achieving what none else has achieved before.

GOAL SETTING
Goals have been described as decisions of attainment with time frame. Goals are statements of faith. Growth is the assignment of the team cannot be nurtured and kept on course without goals. Where there are no goal posts in a football game for instance, how to the competing team score goals and decide who wins? The team should set a long range goals as well as short range goals.

These goals we keep the team players on track, focussed, motivated, and purposeful. Such goals should be measurable and attainable. Planning should be part and parcel of goal setting. There is this adage which says if we fail to plan we have virtually planned to fail. This is not God's will because God himself is a master planner.

GROWTH AND INCREASE
Growth and increase go together. It entails spiritual, physical and numerical. Let us consider the following factors that could lead to incremental rising kingdom business.

a. Team members should exhibit possibility attitude: Their mindset should be optimistic that the assignments is achievable.

Paul is encouraging us as team players or workers in God's vineyard that each team player can perform adequately well in the area of our calling to the anointing of Christ.

b. They should secure and share God's wisdom for the ministry or church. Vision is not giving to a group of people but a man or woman of God. The team members are co-vision owners or bearers who are expected to run with it.

God has a purpose and vision for each of them without being be driven by God's vision,growth will be elusive to the ministry.

c. Team players are expected to build strong player base. By grace player and spiritual welfare enforce growth in the assignment. They already had won victory on the cross.
John

Prayer warriors and intercessors are motivated to engage the gates of hell so that they should not prevail against the church.

d. Commitment to soul winning is a must do factor. Team player should be updated in new methods of evangelism and outreaches. Evangelism is number one (a priority factor) in numerical increase of the church or local assembly.

CONCLUSION
Kingdom assignment centres on the gospel of grace. Grace is "a sinequanon" (something we cannot do without). Goal setting is very vital. If we fail to plan we said we have indirectly planned to fail. Growth and increase and not mere wishes we need to be doers of the word. As we sow the world and water it, God is obligated to give the increase.
