What is the wages of sin?

We all know that the wages of sunburn is death Romans 6:23.
Genesis 2:17

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

As we all have known from Adam that the wages of sin or the panalty is death, you may want to say that Adam did not died immediately when he committed the sin, but the Bible has made us to know that through the sin of one man(ADAM) death came into the world, and sin is the curse of death.

How did sin entered the world

Death was passed unpon all men because sin was already on the earth. There’s no man that can ever live forever on earth. Now you might have this questions about those that ascended into heaven, yeah they didn’t die, but they’re not going to live with their mortal body in heaven as well. Because this mortal body is already entitled to death.
Romans 5:12

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

God is merciful, but does this clear the guilty?

Numbers 14:18

The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

God is full of mercy, yeah fine. But let’s keep This in mind that even if we’re forgiven of our sins or our guilt, still we shall reap what we’ve down on earth, right on earth and not in heaven.

What is the result of willful sin?

I want us to know that when we go ahead to sin willfully after being warned about such thing, and we were properly taught by our elders not to commit such act, that’s what the Bible call the iniquity of man knowing what is wrong and still want to do it. There remaineth no more sacrifice for sin, therefore you shall pay for it.
They that despised the law of Moses died without mercy under two or three witness.

Hebrews 10:26-29

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How can man escape the penalty?

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let’s dear God's anger and do nothing against his commandments. Because he threatens to punish whosoever thy will transgress his commandments.
And also, he promise every blessing to those who will keep his commandments too. So let’s love And trust him and gladly obey his commandments.
