The Devil Is In Trouble

When the devil is out to trouble the world, God will trouble the devil. The devil knows how strong and potent the power of God is and can defeat him. He cannot stand against God in anyway for our God reign supreme over all.

We the sons of God have been given power over the devil and all his cohorts. The devil is not afraid of any but the true son of God. They are the ones that give him headache and disturbs his kingdom. We have been given a jurisdictional authority over the earth that God made for man and whatever we bind here will be bound in heaven and whatever loose here will be loosed in heaven.

Christ died on the cross and freed us from the power of sin and death. All the laws that put us in bondage have been override by the grace of the Lord Jesus and powers that use to hold us captive have been rendered powerless by the precious blood of Christ.

This is what put the devil to fret, nothing frightens the devil but a son of God who has the DNA of Christ in his system. The devil knows how helpless such Christians can make him become. He knows about the Scripture which says we have been given power over him and all his agents of evil.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

We have power over Satan and he knows it will be hard for him to win any battle against us. As a child of God you must know that it is not by might nor by power but the spirit of God.

The spirit within us gives us an upper hand over the devil and over every devilish schemes. We have power over sickness, power over death, power over demons, power over every situation.

One thing that is weakening the power God has given us is ignorance. Many believers still don't know their jurisdictional rights or power. They are not aware of the kind of power God has given them and even if they are aware they don't feed themselves continually with the necessary spiritual food(the word, prayer, fasting) and as a result the devil is always winning.

Christians are now fighting among themselves Instead of fighting the real enemy. Let us forget the old fights among God's people over issues that do not lead to the salvation of men and women.

Our enemy is not another denomination or even denominationalism. Our enemy is the devil, and let's fight with him and not our fellow brethrens.

Let the peace of God reign among us and Let's make the devil flee to hell, the right place he belongs.

Thanks for this message. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and rulers of darkness. Darkness has no power over us, this is something every believer must know. Fighting against ourselves will not profit us in anyway, it is the wish of God we all may be one. Bless you @collinz

Thank you @gadol

We have no power over Satan.

You're misinterpreting Luke 10:19. Look at more of the passage:

(Luke 10:1 NIV) After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.

(Luke 10:17-20 NIV) The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name." {18} He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. {19} I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. {20} However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Jesus was talking to the 72 disciples that he gave that power to. Jesus doesn't give that power to Christians today.

Yes ! We have Power Over Satan

Im not misinterpreting Scripture.. I quoted this Scripture to let us know that the same power given to the early disciples is still made available to us today. It is true that the Scripture I quoted was referred to the 72.... But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name John 1:12

This is to let you know whoever has received Jesus as his Lord and saviour also has this right. A right to become God's son and whoever is born of God has overcome the world and even Satan.

Jesus has given us power and still gives power to all who come to him today, that is why the demons that submitted to the 72 still submit to believers of Christ today at the mention of his name.

It is the Holy Spirit that gives us the power over satan and all his cohorts. Every child of God has His spirit living in him or her and with the Holy Spirit Satan has no grounds to battle or win.

If God doesn't give the Christian power today then Peter was wrong when he said the Promise of the Holy Spirit and the gift of the Spirit is for us, to our children and those who are afar off:

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39

Besides whatever God said to them was also said to us all.. Mark 13:37

Jesus has given us that power and still gives to all who believes in His name
