THE FOUR SEASONS OF YOUR LIFE

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heavens the bible says. There are four seasons in life that every goes through that you need to take.

Nobody on this planet can change time or seasons and while the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.Genesis 8:22

Today I would like to talk about different seasons in your life namely: birth and dependency, independence, interdependence and lastly death.

BIRTH AND DEPENDENCY
We all have passed through this stage if you are grown up now. This is when were born and you look so gentle, pure, innocent and beautiful. You were without blemish and everybody loved to hold you, caress you and show you so much care.

You were not aware of the people that were around or the world you come in until a certain point in time. You totally relied on others for your survival, parents, family and neighbours taught you and trained you to know what is right and what is wrong. Nobody in his right sense will teach a child evil.

As a child you were trained up to know what is good except few children who were not privilege to have good parent or found themselves in a bad community or neighborhood or among bad peers.

Childhood memories are always sweet, do you remember yours now? If you are an adult now you need to share your childhood experiences with your children, teach them what you did wrong as a child that they should never repeat. I believe I'm talking to adults now?

INDEPENDENCE
Now that you are grown up you no longer depend on others for your livelihood. You have to take care of yourself. You have enough freedom at this stage but hey! It is a difficult season in life. You are your own boss and has to manage your affairs, plan for your life, decide what you want to do with your life.

This is the season you need to be careful how you plan or live your life because it can have a great impact and can affect your entire life. What you need to do is to be mindful of how you live life during this season. Though you are a free individual but still depend on God for direction.

INTERDEPENDENCE
This is a season where you will need others help in your life. Someone said something interesting: if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far go with others. I really love this quote. It speaks of the need to work with others for a long-term sustainability.

You will marry and have kids and every decisions you make has an influence on their life. You will need a wife or close friend to inspire you most times in order to keep you going. This why you need to plan carefully during the season of your life.

DEATH
When you have passed through all the seasons you finally come to your final season where all your toil becomes the nourishment for others. You might have fulfilled or unfulfilled your purposes. If people don't get any benefit from you when you die then you didn't live you just existed.

You must die finish and empty. People should praise you for the legacy you left behind and not to tarnish your image when you are gone. Death is inevitable and we all will meet it one day, you cannot escape it and even if you live long like Methuselah you will still die.

This is why you need to have someone who can give you hope after death while you are alive because there is life after death. If you can sleep and dream and find yourself in another world then know that there is another hidden world besides this world. You still have the chance to make things right. I recommend Jesus Christ to you before you die: This is what you need to do now, believe in Him and confess Him as your Lord and saviour and you shall be saved.
