Our Lord Jesus Christ is the safe harbor in the middle of the sea, he is an anchor in the middle of the storm, any situation in our lives, Jesus sustains us.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
We saw in a world that is too dynamic and changing, day after day we meet new people, we distance ourselves from others, family members move from one place to another, we experience an accelerated advance in technology. If we look for security in these people, in the position we can achieve with the material goods we can obtain, it is certain that we will end up in disappointment.
Everyone, absolutely everyone needs a refuge, a place and someone to turn to in the midst of the storms of life, this leg or this safe harbor is Jesus Christ who is always ready and willing to help us and never changes. In him we can find the comfort that we long for. For this reason, it is necessary that we know him more every day, which is why I want to share with you some important points to know more about our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1
We see that Jesus Christ was revealed from the beginning as Jesus the son of God, as the beginning of everything, remember that he was born of a virgin woman and lived on this earth for 33 years, he was crucified, died and was resurrected in the Third day, Jesus Christ is the way and truth and life, he is the son of the true God and living God creator of the heavens and the earth.
16 Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matthew 16:16
Jesus Christ is the messiah who had been promised since ancient times, since the old testament. Jesus has been a person, 100% human, he cried with those who suffered, he got angry at some moments, everything that we can feel he felt and he stood out in that his reaction to death has defeated this same death, and He has done it once and for all so that each of us who believe in him and appropriate the resurrection and justification may live forever with him.
That Jesus Christ that the Bible tells us about, that Jesus who is full of love, is compassionate, full of grace, son of God, that is the same Jesus that we can cling to and rest in today. Let us remember that difficult situations are not optional, they are inevitable and we can overcome them. Let us prepare to live in fullness of life even in the worst circumstances, believing and understanding that Jesus Christ is the only true refuge, he is the firm rock that will never change and will always sustain us.
