STEEMCHURCH: The evil devils sitting at the game table

Greetings to all my brothers who are part of the Steemchurch family. I want to share with you a problem that causes a lot of damage to our society, such as card games.

Life puts in our way many tests and multiple obstacles that make people become stronger and persevering or sink into vices such as drugs and alcohol. But there is another scourge that is often seen without negative eyes on the part of society for the sole fact that it is not a crime. And it is none other than the games of vision and chance, the mere fact that this intrusion and the ambition to power make you reflect on which path to choose to have a prodigious future and with your soul and mind healthy and with nothing to regret

Ecclesiastes 5:10 says: "A simple lover of silver has not been satisfied with money, nor any lover of wealth with income."

It should be noted that one of the ten commandments says that you should not want anything of your similar and it is something totally opposite to what holdem players of Texas (poker) want, for example, when in a table of 10 players what you want is to have better cards than your opponents at the table to be able to strip them of their money.

Nor can we forget that greed generates dissatisfaction with the so-called financial depressions and only in the United States of America there are more than one million people with gambling problems, which is a disease that consists of making people addicted to gambling.

For them it is necessary that when the person needs to be distracted in a casino or game establishment and that they see it as a hobby and not as a necessity to be happy in life, and at the same time they can not be in excess avoid falling into the game that is the disease brought by the evil demons to incite and dominate the mind of the person who tempts him to play until he has to plunge him into addiction and depression the next day when he is drowned economically and mentally.

We must also take into account the positive messages that can often serve us as the light of positivism and enlightenment for the mind that opens the way for us to be useful for society. "Greed is the root of the game, it is so corrosive that the word of God puts it on the list of what we must avoid at all costs" (Ephesians 5.3).

The moral of all the above is that you have to do well without looking at who and show facts and actions that we must avoid addiction to the game at all costs that ultimately are harmful to the future and the future of their families by being in that dark world that does not contribute anything positive for society.
