Time to Laugh, Benefits of Laughter

Laughing is healthy. Laughing is not easy when the circumstances that surround us are not pleasant. Everything has its time, time to mourn, time to laugh, time to rest, time to decide, etc.

The Apostle Paul exhorts us in Philippians to rejoice in the Lord Always in spite of the fact that he was in a prison, because the reason to enjoy ourselves in life, rests in God, Who changes our lament in Gozo, and in that way we can take the time to laugh.

Life is short, and we need to think about how much time we spend to cry, sing, comfort, encourage, and above all laugh, because laughter is a remedy for the soul. Jesus gave us the example, he had time to heal, love, liberate, cry, eat and enjoy with people. Stop at this moment and laugh, laugh at yourself, at what you have done that made you laugh, and you will notice that the stress you may be suffering, lowers the level, besides laughter is contagious and you will contribute for others to take time to laugh.

Laughing can improve the quality of life of diabetics.

The natural or forced laughter can improve the quality of life of diabetics and contribute positively in other conditions such as dermatitis or allergies, explained to EFE the doctor and researcher Ramón Mora-Ripoll.

Mora-Ripoll, who participated today in Lisbon in the first European congress of the sciences and practices of laughter, explained that smiling help to lower blood glucose among diabetics.

"Laughter is a lifestyle," said the doctor, speaking of laughter therapy for those who accumulate three minutes of laughter a day is as important as the quality of sleep or feeding in a balanced way.

The specialist indicated that a daily action such as laughing activates hormones or neurotransmitters that help to combat conditions such as dermatitis or certain allergies.

According to Mora-Ripoll, it does not matter if the laughs are natural or rehearsed, since "both have almost the same benefits" for the organism. However, despite the benefits of laughter therapy in scientific studies, this discipline has no specific training and, like many of the so-called alternative therapies, it does not find support from the medical community.

God is the only God who imparts and produces joy and joy.

"Still have to fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouts of joy." Job 8:21

"Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with cries of joy; Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them." Psalm 126: 2

Laughter is not only a free resource but it is also renewable.

It causes the balance to be restored on a tiring day.

Help the energy return to the decayed spirit.

Relieves the burden of sadness, pain and suffering.

Laughter has a very high rate of return.

Positive results are obtained when we laugh with others instead of others.

Proverbs 17:22
The happy heart is good medicine, but the broken spirit dries the bones.

Proverbs 16:24
Honeycomb are pleasant words, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.

Proverbs 18:14
The spirit of man can withstand his illness, but the broken spirit, who can bear it?

Sigmund Freud attributed to the laughter the power to free the organism from negative energy. Something that has been scientifically proven upon discovering that the cerebral cortex releases electrical impulses a second after starting to laugh.
Laughter is located in the prefrontal area of the cerebral cortex, where creativity resides, ability to think about future futures. As we grow, we gain in maturity but we lose the spontaneity of letting ourselves be carried away by laughter, or even of seeing the positive and comic side of things. Hence, there are times when it is convenient to remember how to laugh. There are therapies for this, highlighting Laughter therapy.

Benefits of laughter

Laughing has numerous advantages, among which are:

Laughter decreases insomnia.
Prevents heart attacks, since the spasms that occur in the diaphragm strengthen the lungs and the heart.
Rejuvenates the skin because it has a toning and anti-wrinkle effect.
When releasing endorphins, it has an analgesic effect.
The laughter makes the head vibrate and the nose and the ear are cleared.
Reduces blood pressure
Strengthens the immune system.
It facilitates digestion by increasing the contractions of the abdominal muscles.
Improves breathing

"When God laughed, the seven Gods that govern the world were born (..)
When the laughter broke out, the light appeared (...)
When he laughed again for the second time, water gushed out (...)
The seventh time he laughed the soul appeared (...) "
