Compliments of the season members of steemchurch, eateemians and steemians. Have you ever wondered why people barely say "Thank You" to God, here are some reasons;
1. Covetousness: A convetous man is never satisfied because he feels the little he has isn't enough reason for him to give thanks to God until he has plenty.
2. Some people feel God is owing them. They always comolqin o what has done for their neighbours, friends or family members and has not done for him. With all this complains they don't give thanks to God. They also tend to forget fast that murmuring attracts the jidgemnet of God.
3. Pride: Some people believe their success and progress in life is by their effort so they do not see it for to thank God. I remember my mother's colleague saying he's strong because of the doctor who treated him and not because of God, I laughed at his foolish words. Arrogance stifles appreciation.
4. Comparison: Are you in a competition? Comparing yourself with others is not wise at all. Appreciate God for what you are/have today. God made us all from dust so stop comparing yourself with others. If you're short, God said "Lo I'm with you always". If you're fat, God said " You shall be fat and flourish". If you're slim, God said "You shall be like the palm tree".
Dangers Of Not Appreciating God.
It opens door for the enemies to attack (Deuteronomy 25:57-48).
It attracts curses.
It is a form of pride and can lead to destruction (Act 12:21-23).
In the remaining day of this month/year, do not question God for what you to not have but rather thank him for everything. The devil wants you to be ungrateful so that you will not attract God's blessings, please do not fall for the devil funny tricks.
