Does the world around you spin?

Dear Community!

From small we have the tendency that the world turns and it must be working in our favor.

When the child crying, he understands that his mother owes him all the care and protection and so she does it. Growing up we are inclined to be self-centered and want everything to be ours and nothing to be shared.

The toy is mine, the school is mine, and the uncles "mine" and "mine" arise. And in this way we begin to have a god that is our possession. The god with "d" small, since it is subject to our desires and feelings.

We say that it is good for every pleasant situation we experience and bad for the opposite reason. A god of mass to model our desires, because it must adapt to our pressures. A god that apparently becomes powerful when we receive what we long for and weak when something is missing.

It seems to be something contrary to what is written in Genesis, because there God is to see the creation explana on earth. He is good in his essence and not because of what we had, have or will have. When we subject God to a situation we are affirming that the world must revolve around us. We are saying to God that the best solution is the one we have proposed. But if it is, it ceases to be king and lord and to be less than us. I once read a phrase like this: "If God had given yes to all our requests we would be in hell."

A child whose parents always say yes to any request, may think that they are good. But that child had no limits and then it was lost in a dark world. In the same way it is so with us and God. Lord and King, the world revolves around him and we must love him because he gave us the opportunity to be here to know who he is.

Many times we find testimonies of people who soon become frustrated when they stop getting here that they understand that God should give to them. They asked for proof of love for God, forgetting that approval has already been given.

But God shows his love for us, in that while still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more, being already justified in his blood, we will be saved from wrath by him. Because if being enemies, we were reconciled with God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
Romans 5: 8-10

Precisely this brings us closer to an indescribable truth, Jesus is the greatest proof of love. Blessings Emilio

Very great message, @emiliocabrera!

These phrases seem very wise to me, our attention towards this must be firm. Thanks for sharing E
