Romans 6:23
Good morning Steemians!
Let's see what God has for us today.
Be blessed as you read.
The wrath of sin was satisfied on the cross. Many believers think that CHRIST died to save man from the wrath of God.
They think that God was fuming at the world from heaven and looking forward to the day.
He will finally execute judgement on man and the sinful world.
The truth is that God is no longer concerned about sin.
He use to be and it was this concern that made him send Jesus to die for the sins of the world.
The focus today is no longer on the wages of sin, which is death; but on the gift of God, which is eternal life through Christ Jesus.
God wants the world to receive the salvation which he has already made available in christ Jesus.
The Bible says that he is unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
When Jesus died on the cross, the problem of sin was dealt with.
The wrath of sin was satisfied. This means that a believer in Christ Jesus does not have a sin problem.
The death ,burial and resurrection of Christ brought an end to sin and brought us into the light of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21 says For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
God is not angry with you. He has settled the sin problem in, and through Christ.
What you need to do is to trust his righteousness. You are the result of Christ redemptive work.
Accept and work in his righteousness and live continually in his love, glory and grace.
2 Corinthians 5:19 says To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Once you come into christ, God does not even remember your sins. He does not hold you accountable for your sins.
Romans 5:10 says For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Also very 17 of the sane Romans says For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Never be conscious of sin. Rather be conscious of your righteousness in christ.
Whatever you permit will end up influencing you.
Make up your mind now, determine now.
I pray God's grace and mercy be sufficient to us. Amen
Thanks for visiting my blog and God bless you.
I still remain @erbeebassie.
Do have a good day.
