GETTING TO KNOW THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

Another bright day and am thanking God for you. Today, we will be looking at fruits of the spirit. This aspect is one those important things we should know about the attribute of christ. For many of us do not understand the fruit of the spirit and canot tell the number of fruits we have. I pray for greater understanding even as we look at this aspect in this post and post to come, we will be looking at each of this fruits one after the other.

The fruit of the spirit is a physical manifestation of a christian life.

When we look at the statement fruit of the spirit, two words are important, the "fruit" and the "spirit". Relating these two words to the trinity, we find out that it goes with the holy spirit. It definitely means if you do not have a relationship or communication with the holy spirit, you will not be able to possess the fruit of the spirit in your life or apply them.
Checking out these bible passages about spirit:

Romans 8:9. Now if any man have not the spirit of christ, he is none of his.

Galatians 5:26. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.

• LOVE. (1John 4:16, 1corinthians 13:4-8)

• JOY. (Nehemiah 8:10, Hebrews 12:2)

• PEACE. (Romans 5:1, Romans 15:13)

• LONGSUFFERING. (Ephesians 4:2)

• GENTLENESS. (2Corinthians 6:6-7)

• GOODNESS. (2Thessalonians 1:11, Ephesians 5:9)

• FAITH. (Isaiah 26:1, Ephesians 3:16-17)

• MEEKNESS. (Ephesians 4:2)

• TEMPERANCE. (2 Peter 1: 5-7)

I will encourage us all to look into all these bible passages for better understanding of these fruits.
