Jesus was speaking to his disciples explaining to them the power in the Word of God. The victory of man is not outside the Word. The solutions to every problem is embedded in it.

By the Word of God, we are cleansed, blessed, freed from sin and death.

-It encourages believers and gives support both good and bad times.

-It is filled with wisdom for the Children of God to acquire and learn from.

-It is a guide against temptation.

-It satisfies the soul and the spirit.

-It teaches the importance of thanksgiving.

-Deep mysteries are imbedded in the Word of God.
