WALKING ON THE WATER

God doesn't want us to get scared of challenges, he wants us to walk over them. To walk on water means to walk over challenges.

source

"And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. Matthew 14:25"

Jesus wanted to get to his disciples. For so many other people, the means to get to them would be a problem but for Jesus, he created a means. The water was a challenge, but he walked on it.

"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Matthew 14:29".

Peter too walked on the obstacle. He overcame the challenge because he followed the voice of God. Nothings keeps a believer going like the voice of God.

You overcome your obstacles when you follow the voice of God. The voice you're listening to determines how far you'll go in greatness. The reason people do not go far in life is because of the voice of self-criticism. So many people because they gave up.

source

When you listen to criticism from people or your flesh you tend to sink. When you listen to the voice from the storm or challenge, we tend to sink. Jesus is the word of God, so while Peter focused on Jesus, he was holding unto God's word.

When you're afraid, you start worrying. Worry is a sign that you don't that you don't trust God. When we encounter challenges, that's when we should amplify our trust in God because the level of trust we have in him is how much he's moved to intervene in our issues.

During the ministry of Jesus, there were so many times he was compelled to help people just because of the dimension of faith that they manifested. Fear must be avoided so much 'cus it brings doubt. The scriptures defined fear as a torment, meaning it introduces pain to the life of a believer.

When we say "I can handle it on my own", we tend to sink more. As believers, we need to be transparent to our divine friends and spiritual leaders. Being transparent is a way to break out of storms quickly. We shouldn't put our storms in secret, that way we've abandoned it in darkness. We should open up, so that the light can shine on it and help can locate it. Darkness is the devil's workplace.

source

He's very active in darkness and he takes off immediately light is introduced. When only one man fights a challenge, he fights alone. But when he fights with the instructions of a spiritual person, more than one man fights. Most of the times when you say you want be alone, the storm amplifies.

There's no challenge too big, the issue is your eye sight. What we call the challenge Most times is not the challenge, the real challenge is our mindset. What kind of glasses are you viewing life with? We see problems so big because of the kind of lens we're viewing with.

Change your lens from reality to spirituality. The storm didn't stop, Peter came floating again because he changed his mindset. We must learn to see with the eyes of the spirit so we're not blind. When believers are blind, they fail to see that God is present even when God is so close. If God could turn his back at his only son, his priceless possession while we didn't even know him, then he's never gonna forsake us.

We were bought so expensively and he's never gonna trade us for anything. Sometimes he needs us to pass through the storm so we'll know how much he's with us. Thanks for stopping by!

@STEEMCHURCH

That is a well elaborated point "We were bought so expensively and he's never gonna trade us for anything. Sometimes he needs us to pass through the storm so we'll know how much he's with us. Thanks for stopping by"

Thanks for this wonderful tonic.
Challenges are part of life but our confidence is in God who is always there to help us through all difficulties.
The more we trust Him and believe He is capable of stopping all storms the more we enjoy peace even in difficulties.

We shouldn't allow ourselves to be bullied all the time by challenges, we must learn to walk over them no matter how fierce they seem. Good dear!

"We were bought so expensively and he's never gonna trade us for anything. Sometimes he needs us to pass through the storm so we'll know how much he's with us".
I totally agree with you on this one.

Wonderful lesson has been drafted out from this write-up I must not fail to acknowledge the incentive used by the author in crafting out what's in line with the scriptures you.Walking on water is a familiar experience in the scriptures to me with the first point given by the author to note was that water was impossible to work upon literally or to be specific physically, but went on further to assure us that walking on water to get past it is very way possible which brings us to our challenges likened to water we can cross. God wants us to see our challenges as water irrespective of the degree of hard times we are going through in continuation that we can cross with ease with God's help all we need to do is just trust God and not grow the feeling that how is it gonna be possible like in the Bible when Jesus asked Peter to join him on water Peter like Jesus started walking on water like the Messiah but know this Immediately Peter doubted he started to sink so we must know that when God is helping us through a particular situation we should focus on Him more or less keep our gaze at Him.

"God doesn't want us to get scared of challenges, he wants us to walk over them. To walk on water means to walk over challenges"
Very true

things you think us impossible will always be made possible through Christ .
Hus miracles and wonders while he was on earth was the sign that he is the almighty and the creator of heaven and earth .
People may think that it is impossible to walk on sea but he proved it wrong that he can work on sea showing that with him God everything is possible

Being focused and trusting in God is also a key to enjoying His wonders. Peter was walking on water till he lost focus, and started sinking. He started considering his environment when he was supposed to be lost in Christ. Then he started sinking. May we not take our focus off our maker in Jesus name, amen.

Trusting in God, believing totally in Him, casting casting all your problems on Him without doubt. That is the only way to walk on waters and not sink. That's the only way you can run the heavenly race and not be weary. That is the only way to rise about your difficult situations. Do not give up. Nice one @evadiva

Thank you for this publication, it is really very educational and motivating, God is pushing me through you to move forward and trust in Him.

During the era of christ, he faced challenges and criticism, guess what??, that made him stronger. Criticism cant kill us. Challenges are meant to make us strong.
WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.
SHALOM!

Hard times doesn't mean he is not with us.
So we should always know that no matter what happens, Jesus Christ is always there for us his children.
