My Attention is What He seeks

Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of GOD and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
When GOD says seek ye first, He means make me your first priority, make me your king, Lord and ruler over you. GOD wants to be your first, He wants to be the one that distracts you, that takes your time. He wants to be what interests you. GOD is a jealous GOD, and He has told us not to have any other god except Him; when men have other gods, it means they give more attention to those gods than himself, anything can be a god. A god is something you honor and worship, this means you give it your time and your respect.
Just like in a relationship, once your spouse is not giving you the attention you need, you get jealous of whatever takes his time and attention. A relationship cannot grow and be healthy if there is no time invested into the relationship to make it work.
There is nothing He craves for, nothing He wishes for more than you, your time.
"Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him (John14:23). This verse holds very beautiful and comforting words, telling us that GOD and Jesus will make Their home in our heart, our lives, they will live with us, be with us, eat with us but this cannot happen if we don't open our arms and allow them take their place.
GOD from the beginning has always wished for all men to come to Him and that was why there was no barrier in the relationship with GOD and man before man was demoted. He still wished for such a good relationship with us, hence Jesus came to tear the veil that separated us from GOD. There is nothing more than my attention He needs.
To talk to me, to communicate His heart, His desires, His intention to me. He wishes this for me and He wishes this for you too.
Isaiah 26:3 says
You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You because He commits himself to You, leans on You and hopes confidently in You.
This is one benefit man gets from GOD when he gives GOD his attention.
