the widow of Sarepta was sent Elijah to dwell there, that is, the presence of the Holy Spirit. She receives the Spirit of Prophecy, which is the Spirit of Elijah, which is the Spirit of Christ; and God preserves it in the midst of the Tribulation that plagues the Earth. Of this humble woman, suffering, persevering, lonely and gentle, God was pleased; and he uses it for his purposes.
This is the church that believes and receives God, and waits in His Salvation.
