It will not be because of a few small things that a Christian will stop being caught in the return of the Lord Jesus. It will be because of the lack of one thing, namely: not having communion with Him. Only those who are sanctified will go up. And what will be the measure of this sanctification?
The Bible teaches us clearly that it does not consist in perfecting the obtaining of the Lord's virtues (long-suffering, love, self-control, goodness, kindness, peace, joy, etc.). So, what will be the measure of sanctification that will make us partakers of the rapture? Certainly this will not be done by the criterion of measurement, because he who has little sanctification will rise as much as he who is very sanctified.
If there is in us, in great or small measure, fear of the Lord, love of his Word, dedication to the duties that are ordained by Him, such as prayer, vigilance, communion, mortification of sin, among others , that lead us to be bound to Him in spirit, then we can be sure that we are being sanctified, because without the action of grace in our hearts, it is impossible to dedicate ourselves to this. It will not be because of any weakness in us, not yet overcome by the Spirit, that we will not be caught up on that great day.
As long as we have an attitude of no concession to any type of sin, and we are seeking victory in the Lord, and having the certainty of faith that we are accepted and approved by Him, we can calm our hearts and have no uncertainty as to the fact that we will participate in the rapture.
While we are acquiring the salve of grace so that we may see the realities of the kingdom of God; the vestments of faith in the righteousness of Christ to cover our sinful nakedness; the gold of God's wisdom so that we may be rich in spiritual understanding; and above all, the oil of the Holy Spirit, to have its direction, instruction and power in our lives, we can be sure that we will sing the new hymn with palms in our hands, in that wonderful day when we will be totally transformed, even in the regarding the glorified body that we will receive for the encounter with the Lord among clouds.
Yes sister, we are accustomed to neglect small details that make great problems in communion with God.
