My Submission To Christ!

I was once encumbered with sin, got stuck up with the things of the world and I felt that I wasn't having the options on it because my transgression and iniquities was something that I wished I could do away with but then, growing up in a family were Christ wasn't known. indeed his glory was absent in our sight, living around people that find pleasure with the things of the world and the acts of flesh was so vivid among us, I never knew the good that I ought to be doing. Then I thought I was living a fabulous life but little did I know that I was swimming in an unclean ocean of sin, walking in the dark with my eyes covered with sins. Just when I thought all hope was gone, his love apprehended and picked me up, placed me on a mighty rock to stay, that love prompt his mercy upon me. I no longer live in the dark because Christ has been my light, being the source of my strength.

The question that I keep on asking is, "Who Will Ever Love Me Just Like The Way He Did?"

That everlasting and evergreen love that always gets refreshed every morning, his love gets me through in every aspect of my life and with his love, I end up victorious despite all odds. Although being stuck and neglected but still he came through to save me from the worst of fates and this was as a result of his love upon me, how marvellous and kind of him coming to planet earth to die and share his blood for me even before I was born, in him my hope is found.

Ever since I found Christ, I now have freedom over the power of sin, darkness and everything on planet.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

As a Christian, I have being given this free access to God without any form of fear or so.

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

I must say, leaving the things of the world was rigorous for me but for one to follow jesus, one needs to lay down his/her own life. I never knew that being a Christian do attract lots of benefits, a life filled with numerous advantages.

• I have gotten a close relationship with God.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

• living a life that I don't bother about tomorrow.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

• I have gotten a companion,which is the holy spirit.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

• I have gotten total victory over the power of sin.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

• I don't have the spirit of fear.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

• Living a life filled with happiness.

2 Corinthians 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

• Living an anxiety free life.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

• Given me an eternal life in Jesus Christ.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
