The salvation of each person is a completely individual decision, no one can ask or believe for you, whether or not you want to save yourself or how to save yourself, in this case talking about the salvation of our soul according to the Word of God we can study the following:
The Salvation
Hebrews 10: 9 and 10 says; that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Because with the heart one believes for justice, but with the mouth one confesses for salvation

A very important step for a person to be saved is first to believe such a short word but it pleases the heart of GOD through our faith (read Hebrews 11). For this to be ascertain in the correct way in which a person can achieve salvation, should not be based on knowledge or human theories, or arguments and religions that invade our society many times. Jesus himself indicated through and throughout his word in the gospels that it was so important to BELIEVE to be saved to be healed to be free and direct examples are found in (Mark 16:16) He who believes and is baptized will be saved

Can we lose our salvation?
If we can lose our salvation, just as a person can be saved from drowning, likewise if she wants to jump back into the depth of the water again putting her life at risk, so a person who repents but does not continue to demonstrate his Faith can be tempted to return to its life of sin, for this reason the Word exhorts us to take care of the salvation of our soul with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12)
