For a man to rise he must first know he is beneath, but firstly beneath what? What is so powerful that would keep a man down without him knowing that he is down?

Society may have everyone else fooled but I know
It's been pulling my legs all this while Like a puppet dancing on a stage thinking itself to be a star and a great ordinance in its hall, never realising it is marely an extension of the puppetier will, every string controlling its action, it's movement nothing but a mirage for the true star is behind the scenes.

What is SOCIETY?
Is it a system or an artificial construct of man, to keep us in check or is it a gathering of minds, superior intellect, men of power and influence or a society both half living half artificial.

Just like Abraham forced to call his wife Sarah his sister because of the fear of the king and other men of power lest they kill him to have her. most times we play by societies rules not because we want to but because of the fear of what may happen if we don't, as powerful as society and the world is it does not control everyone, some of us just dance along to its tunes because we are unaware we can't stop dancing (greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world).

Just as society had Abraham lie about Sarah and God intervained and restored him, you too can also RISE ABOVE SOCIETY if you have God in your life. Rising above society doesn't have to be a one man thing, if you are not strong enough you can always lean on the Lord, it may have you by the leg but with God it could easily be dragged along.

CONCLUSION
Yes society is powerful, yes it's made of man, yes it's made of man and a system, yes it's always had you down but the truth is you don't have to be afraid of it if you put all you faith and trust in the LORD
