Psalm 37:4 (AMP)
4 Delight yourself in the LORD,
And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

At first glance this verse of scripture seems to be a selfish invitation to ask for anything we can think of to satisfy our vanity, any trivial desire that is within our heart, and it really is far from what this text of scripture wants to teach us.
We know that man's heart is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9) and no one knows it better than God, so we must let him cleanse it from every delight in the world and let it be renewed because it pleases me in the Lord.

This is a powerful promise because the word tells us that where our heart is, there is our tesoro¨ Matthew 6:21 Amplified Bible (AMP)21 For where your treasure is, there is your heart[your desires, that on which your life is centered]

When we align ourselves to God's will for our life so much that what we ask is what He has determined for us according to the pure affection of His will (Ephesians 1:5) is when amazing and wonderful things begin to happen in our life we look with our own eyes at the unimaginable that which seemed totally impossible appears before us and with that fact God tells us why you are pleased in me and seek to please me in everything then you will see the impossible happen.
