Luke 17: 5-6 "The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith. Then the Lord said: If you had faith like a mustard seed, you could say to this sycamore tree: Be uprooted, and plant yourself in the sea; and I would obey you",
We are in times where we all have difficult times, we all have circumstances, and sometimes we want God to make us people who could be a giant of faith to see situations changed, but that does not happen only to you or to me, we can see In the Gospel of Luke the apostles also had that idea at some point.
We see that the apostles thought that the amount of faith that they had was not enough to be apostles that could change the circumstances, the adverse situations, for this they say to Jesus: Lord, increase our faith! Surely at some point we have thought this situation is bigger than my faith, but we see the response of the Lord.
"If you had faith like a mustard seed," is an answer that surprises us, places us where our thinking, and our idea should be, was the amount of faith that they needed to have, the Lord locates them and leads them to understand, when we have a solid confidence in the power and the word of God, then the circumstance obeys and changes.
Before the circumstance that you may be facing, even in the general circumstances we can say Lord, increase our faith, but we hear the response of the Lord, it is not the quantity, it is the absolute confidence, the conviction, the certainty that we can have in power of God, although the human eye seems difficult, if there is a solidity, a firmness in believing that God is capable by his power, not by quantity but by his power that works to change, the situation will change because what is impossible for man, it is possible for God.
We must always keep our faith elevated to see the miracles that God has and wants to do in us, but if we do not believe, we will not get anywhere.
