these particular pieces of armour are actual life conditions that God wants to develop in each of us, so that we will - all day, every day - be protected from the wiles, the schemes, the methods, the fiery darts of the evil one. There is no sense, as I intimated this morning, no sense waiting until the devil goes on the offensive in order to get the armour on. We need to be walking every day in these life conditions in order to be protected, so that when the evil day comes we are ready to face our enemy.
