NEVER FOCUS ON AN ENEMY!

Welcome! Note that in (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

In the above scripture, there is no provision made for the defense of the backside of the Christian warrior. This is because God does not not expect you to MOVE OR FOCUS BACKWARDS because your enemies are behind you. They are your enemies because they envy something in you which they cannot possess. Hear this again: Your Enemies Are Behind You And Never In Front! Most times in life, it is very tempting to put all your attention on your enemies. When your prayers are 99% against your enemies, then you are in trouble. Don't see the devil in everything, see God in all things. This is because LOOKING AT YOUR ENEMY IS LOOKING BACKWARD: THEY ARE BEHIND YOU.

Each time you look backwards, you cannot make progress at the same time. In fact, looking backwards and moving forward at the same time can turn you into a LIFE CASUALITY

There are two areas to look daily: UPWARD and FORWARD. Consider these scriptures below and you will never be too concerned about your enemies again:

Isaiah 54:15 - "Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake"

Vs 17 - "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This id the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD"
Isaiah 41:11 - "Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish."
Vs 12 - "Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing , and as a thing of nought"
Ps 62:11 - "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God "

In his Arthashastra: Book VI, "The Source of Sovereign States", Kautilya writes: "The king who is situated anywhere immediately on the circumference of the conqueror's territory is termed the enemy". But the question is : Can you really know all your enemies and their next plan against you? No! No! No! That is why you must NEVER develop a high-grade concern over any enemy this year. Since you cannot know who is really your enemy in this world of traitors! Just keep your hands clean and focus on our THREE FRIENDS (The blessed Trinity) as you run your earthly race.

Don't be over concerned or worried concerning enemies! He that looks to God will be looked over by God. He that looks to God alone need not look to any other direction or fear any foe. How do you even know your enemies in a world where even your spouse (husband or wife) can become your spite agent? How do you even know your enemies in a world where even your best friend can become your paid traitor due to envy? How do you even know your enemies in a world where even your fellow church member can be used as the "HAMAN" contending against your destiny?

Oh! Only God can know who your enemy is! So why worry about enemies? Charlotte Bronte quipped" " I can be on guard against my enemies, but God deliver me from my friends". Why look backwards to see WHO is planning WHAT? And don't forget your enemies are always behind you. Don't spend 100% of your prayer fighting them! that is looking backwards. Spend a good part of your prayers in praise and worship of He that is called JEHOVAH : The tear-Wiper. He is the one that sees your enemies before they plan, while they plan and after the plan. And He has counter plan for their every plan. Yes, Spend your prayer time on salvation of souls, missionaries, your local church, backsliders, pastors, those in prisons, hospitals, orphans, widows, nations, governments, children's , others etc . Consider the scriptures below:

"When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him". Proverb 16:7

"But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose you" Exodus 23:22

So never be focused on or fear any enemy this year. Look up! Trust Him! Please Him and you will never know defeat! Amen!
