The whole problem by the denial of Jesus Christ divineness is easy to formulate in a few sentences.
- When the word, the Logos wouldn't be God by its nature, what would this mean alternatively? Jesus would be just a simple creature, because all what's not God is just a part of his creation, not more. Just God alone is eternal and uncreated.
Fortunately the holy scripture tellls all of us with all clearness the word, the Logos is a part of God - and not one of his creatures: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:3). We see, there's no creature which is create without the Logos. In fact this means, Jesus can't be a creature, otherwise there would be one creature which is not create through the Word/Logos (Christ) and this would be jesus Christ himself. It's knowable the concept of a creaturely Logos disagree clearly with this part of the bible (John 1:3).
- When the word, the Logos (Christ) wouldn't be God, but rather a simple creature, it would be idolatry to worship him. God is the only one who deserves worship. When Jesus would be just a creature (even if he would be the greatest and loftiest of all creatures which ever existed), then he wouldn't deserves worship. In opposite to this the bible shows a lot of sections which testifies the adorability of Jesus Christ (Matthew 14:33, 28:9,17; John 9:38, Acts 7:59-60, 2. Corinthians 12:8-9, Hebrews 1:6, Revelation 5:8-14, 22:20).
Christians are these ones, who to worship Jesus Christ wherever they are, so as here (1. Corinthian 1,2, it's the same in Acts 9:14).
- Statements like "I can't make wrong anything when I worship the father" are a double-edged sword - at least when it's the sense not to worship the son. Why?
Yes, the father is admirable, it's important to worship him, but what tells the scripture to this theme? Is there not written "all have to honor the son like the father"?
It's because "That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him" (John 5:23). "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (1. John 5:12). The father makes his own worship dependent from the worship of his son, who God has sent. Not who to honor the father has the son (and through him the salvation), but rather who to honor the son, this one has the father too (and get the salvation, which comes through the son).
It's important to understand that God wants worship in Christ. The worship of Jesus Christ makes the honor of the father no competition, to the contrary the right worship of the father is to find in the worship of his son:
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phillipians 2:9-11).
Who's not willing to worship the son, is also not willing to worship the father on this way which is prescribed in the holy scripture.
