Be silent before Jehovah, and wait on him.

Waiting in God can often lead us to despair, which is why the Lord invites us to keep quiet and be calm while we wait for his will to be fulfilled.
Something that God makes us understand is that his time is perfect and that, although we do not see at once what we long for if we wait he will be propitious to our longing

It is important to remember dear brothers that the time of God does not fall behind or advance his plans for our lives will be fulfilled according to his will and the time it should be.

In our human nature it is difficult for us to wait when we really want something, we want everything to be done at the moment we open our mouth, but we have to understand that our sovereign king does not act in that way, there are things that can be answered at the moment more remarkable is when in the midst of an illness we cry out to Him and we see improvement quickly, but there are other things that do not come so quickly that they may take a little longer.

God invites us to wait because if everything did not happen immediately we would not want to depend on him or practice our patience, in the Bible we see many moments where we had to wait before God gave an answer.

The Israelites spent 40 years waiting to enter the promised land, that is a great example of waiting for God, sometimes we have a day or a week praying and we see nothing and despair enters into our lives.

In the Psalms 18:30
As for God, his way is perfect,
And the word of the Lord was purified;
Shield is to all who wait for him.

We can see that GOD shows us and tells us that the perfection of life in Christ tells us that his path is perfect, although often full of ups and downs, that his word is pure is faultless is true and the most important thing is that she and He will always be a shield for those who wait.
