I bring you good tidings from the Lord Almighty for he gave me the inspiration and grace to make this publication.

Last night, I stumbled upon a movie with the title 'God's Not Dead'. The name of the movie was striking and inviting so I could not afford to skip it; So I then settled down to feed my eyes after a very tedious and hectic day.

The Story...

There was a Professor of Philosophy in a High School, who was an atheist and there was also a College Freshman who was a child of God - an avid lover of Christ. One day, the professor came to the classroom and asked all his students to inscribe the word God Is Dead on a plain sheet which he supplied. All the students complied except this particular freshman. The freshman told the professor to his face that he was not to going to write it as others as he would be disappointing Jesus. The professor was kind of shock hearing that, he then went ahead to threatening the freshman if he did not yield. He said he was going to fail him. It still did not move the freshman. He still stood his grounds.

The Challenge

Since the young man refused to agree that God was dead, the professor told him to go infront of the classroom and prove the existence of God. The boy natural was scared and afraid but he never gave in to fear. He tried proving the first day and it seemed the professor was winning, the second day came and he was close to humiliating the professor infront of his student. The final day came and the Holy Spirit filled the freshman's mouth with words which he said and was able to prove the existence of God and the professor being sore humiliated. To add salt to the professor's wound, all his student came to Jesus having believed that God was not dead.

The Message

How many times have you denied God?
How many times have you been able to defend God?
How many times have you been able to put smile on God's face?
Have you been hiding your faith?
Are you always scared of proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ?

Ponder upon this questions and assess your life. If you find yourself a victim, then you have to know that God is not happy. Jesus said that if you deny Him that He in turn will deny you before His Father.

God is not Dead and can never be! Don't be deceived!

Do not let the situations of life make you endanger your life just has the Professor did. Also, do not give your freewill to others; do not let anyone choose for you. By that I mean, do not be like the other students who let the professor make the choice for them. Choose for yourself and choose wisely. God will never force you to come to Him. Never!

If you are one with the opinion that God is dead, it is time for you to come out from such believe. The devil wants to waste your life. God is very much alive and He can save you. Sometimes, the devil causes good things to happen and come your way so that you will never come to believing the truth.

The Turning Point

The Professor had a car accident after his wife might have left him. He was hit hard from behind and his spinal cord damaged. But God still wanted to save him and I came to the understanding that God still loves sinners. While lying on the ground helplessly and his life gradually fading away, a Reverend minister walked up to him and introduced Christ to him which he accepted as his personal Lord and Saviour and then died. What joy will be in heaven!!

Conclusion

You never can tell when your life will end so if you are yet to accept Christ, do so now. Moreso, it does not matter what you may be going through in life, God can heal your pain and give your life a meaning. Do not live at the mercy of what people say over your life. God alone has the final say in your life. Keep believing and trusting in him and He will certainly work things out for you.

There was a woman who was diagnosed of cancer too, she never believed in Christ. So when the doctor broke the news to her and made her believe she was gonna die soon, she believed and started living in sorrows and without purpose. Her actions made me come to the conclusion that a life without faith in Christ is a piece of trash; a hopeless and meaninless life. One day, she went to meet a group of singers who proclaimed Christ in their songs in the quest of countering God's existence. But it turned out that Christ was preached to her and she accepted and since then her hope was revived.

Christ in you is the hope of your eternal glory. So, if there is no Christ in you then you do not have hope of this eternal glory. Run to Jesus!

Persecution may come while proclaiming your faith in Jesus Christ. You may be rejected and thrown out by your family, you may be beaten up and abused, you may be starved but the good news is that 'blessed is he that suffers persecution for righteousness sake' and the glory that will be revealed in you will be much greater than the present suffering.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
