As a child of God, the Name of Jesus has been given to you to live by. You have the legal right and power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. But most times, it seems we do not know the power behind the name of Jesus. Many people tend to call the name of other things whenever in trouble and believe me those names do not save. The Name of Jesus is the greatest name of all. That Name has been given to you; use it! The Bible says in Colssians 3:17;
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
The Name of Jesus represents authority. The Bible says blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord. As long as we are living on earth, there will always be occasions for us to use that Name. And when we exercise our right to use the Name of Jesus, we gain the victory. The Bible describes testimonies of healings done through the disciples as they used the Name of Jesus. Multitudes came out of the cities to Jerusalem, bringing the sick and the maimed, and thhey were all healed.
The account of the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple called Beautiful is one of my favourite portions of the Scripture, because it reveals the power in the Name of Jesus. Peter had received the revelation that he had right to use the Name of Jesus. Hence, he said to the lame man in Acts 3:4-7;
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Peter acknowledged the power of that Name and said, "And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (Acts 3:16). When you consistently exercise your authority in that Name, your life will be be full of miracles and testimonies.
Use the Name of Jesus today if you are a child of God! At the mention of that Name every knee bows! You can change any hopeless situation with the Name of Jesus.
The Name of the Lord is a strong tower! the righteous runs into it and is safe. Therefore, I cannot be helpless nor distressed about anything, for I have the right to use the Name of Jesus, and that Name is greater and more powerful than any situation I may face! The Name of Jesus is my security and assurance for victory; I live by the power of that Name today.
MAKE IT A CHOICE TO HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
The Name is above all names. We us Christians needs to use the name to perfect our lives.

One can not read the book of Acts without noticing the place of prominence that occupied the name of Jesus in the Early Church. Time and again he talks about "the Name." Let's note some cases:
"And by faith IN HIS NAME, to him, whom you see and know, HIS NAME has confirmed" (3:16)
"As you stretch out your hand for healing and signs and wonders to be done by THE NAME of your holy son Jesus" (4:30).
"And they went forth from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for the sake of THE NAME" (5:41).
"But when they believed Philip, who preached the Gospel of the kingdom of God AND THE NAME of Jesus Christ, they were baptized men and women" (8:12).
"For I will show you how much it is necessary for you to suffer for MY NAME" (9:16)
"Men who have exposed their lives by THE NAME of our Lord Jesus Christ" (15:26).
