Fidelity is not only loyalty but also perseverance, since many people have started something very well and have ended badly. We believe that what starts well ends well, but that will be the case as long as we keep our eyes and the purposes where they started.
Many characters of the Bible began very well, God helped them so that everything was in the best way but the boastfulness, the flesh or the ego, etc. He seized them. Fidelity
Such is the example of Usiah, this king had a very clear conversion. From a very young age he converted to God with all his heart, did what was right and sought God and He gave victory to his enemies, gave him prosperity everywhere, making him a highly powerful man; his life as a believer was fine until he was exalted and this was his ruin.
The stumbling block of this believer was personal conceit, vainglory, he did not recognize or forgot that he was what he was thanks to God, he disobeyed God's law and that made him end up very bad, alone, away from his family until the last day of his life (2 Chronicles 26: 1-16)
Maybe many of us have started the good work or act according to what God likes but we have forgotten to be faithful, as Solomon must have done. Faithfulness
Let us not lose sight of the reason, the motivation and the most important thing is that we do not move our hearts away from God. Reinforce your fidelity to Him and you can keep from beginning to end with Him.
