The week they call santa

Today I want to share with you beloved of the church of Steem this small and beautiful reflection.

"I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring, it will strike you in the head, and you will strike her in the heel." (Genesis 3.15)

The week that closes the quarantine after the Carnival is known, in the Christian world as "Holy Week". A very marked week, in which important decisions must be resolved. They are moments of reflections on elections. Every family gathers to, finally, deliberate until they reach a common agreement on: what will be the number of the easter egg and what fill will it please the most? Go to what beach this time? Stretch the holiday or not? Why not bunny tracks when hiding eggs?

These are the difficult issues that represent the most important week of humanity.

Week in which a bridge in the shape of a cross was erected for the reconciliation of the creature with its Creator. Week in which God fulfills his first promise: His Son, born of a woman, crushed the head of the serpent. Week in which the universe was doubled to the one and eternal King, eternally. Predicted week, coveted and written by dozens of people, for thousands of years in the most read and most beautiful book. How many cried for that week? How many died for her? How many lived for her? The week in which death receded, it declined its power. Week of the birth of Grace.

We call it holy the week when all the sin in the world opened in red tones over the only Saint. So obvious tones that the Father hid his face. The greatest of all pains, the price of sin. The most bitter food. The separation.

Easter is far from having the smell of chocolate. Its aroma is of freedom, it is of reconciliation. The most beautiful week of all time. Holy for the saint's sake.
