The promise of forgiveness removes the guilt and shame that weigh and crush. You make and break the promises to God, fighting with the sin that you must have conquered a long time ago. Many Christians feel condemnation because of sin after following Jesus. God does not love you because you are good. God loves you because you are his. Proclaim this promise of forgiveness about yourself.
