We must remember that what we have is a gift. The first of the Beatitudes is that of poverty, and only if we live in accordance with this Bliss will we be able to enter the God's Kingdom. This Bliss has two aspects. First, it is perfectly clear that we do not have anything that we can keep, whether we want it or not; is the discovery of that I am nobody and that I have nothing, total, irremediable, desperate poverty. We exist because we wanted to exist and given existence. We have not done anything for this, it has not been an act of our free will. We do not possess life in such a way that it is impossible for anyone to take it from us, and all that we are and all that we possess is like that, ephemeral. We have a body, which will die. We have a mind; however, it is sufficient that a tiny glass is broken in a brain so that the larger mind is extinguished sudden. We have a heart, sensitive and alive and yet, come a time when we We would like to splurge all our sympathy, all our understanding for someone who is In need of it, we have only one stone in our chest.
So, in a way, we can say that we do not own anything because we do not own anything of what is in our power. And this can lead us, not to feel belonging to the kingdom of God and rejoice in it, but to despair, if we do not remember that, although none of these things are ours in such a way that they can not be taken away from us, However, we are in possession of them.
This is the second aspect of Bliss. We are rich, and all we have is a gift and a sign of the love of God and the love of men, is a continuous gift of love divine; and while we possess nothing, divine love manifests itself continuously and totally. But everything we take in our hands to possess it comes out of the realm of love. It certainly becomes ours, but love is lost. And only those who give it everything is aware of the true, total, final, irremediable spiritual poverty, and that they possess the love of God expressed in all their gifts. One of our theologians has said: "All the food of this world is edible divine love." I think it's true and in the When we try to be rich by keeping something safe in our hands, we are the losers, because while we have nothing in our hands, we can take, leave, do what that we want
certainly we are only administrators of God's favors for his mercy, let's seek to make treasures in heaven.
