I can describe my mom as a soft spoken person, a martyr wife, she was a good teacher and now a retired school principal, a grandmom to her grandchildren and all good qualities that anyone can ask for a mother. Of course all of us will say you have a super mom too. And everyone will say no one is the same as our mom, right?

I went on leave last October and spent almost 35 days with my family in Philippines. Even if we are adult already mom still managed to make us a coffee during breakfast (I am addicted to coffee) or make a glass of milk before we go to bed in the night. Mothers obligation that even we grow old she is still doing to us.
When I told my mom that I was pregnant and my son's father told me that he can't be a father to our child (the same reason i told to my mother)
I am pretty sure she was the one most affected person
whose parents are happy that their daughter will get pregnant without the support of a father's child?. No one is favor of that obviously right?
But my mom accepted my faith. I never heard any bad words against me even until today. Even myself never thought that I will be a single parent. I feel ashamed to my mom coz I know our neighbors may think why it happened to me despite my dad was so strict. So many cliché questions I had in my mind before like
are they asking my mom, where is my husband?” – what mom gonna say to them?
My mom sometimes will make some white lies or make some stories just to cover up as what happened to me.
During my last vacation my cousin’s uncle and aunt had their roadtrip and by chance they came and visited us. Everyone at the living room says Hi's and hellos. Then later on my mom started and informing my cousins uncle and aunt what happened to their niece
By the way four (4) cousins are staying with us since both parents are already expired, so Mom and Dad are the guardians now.
As I was listening to my mom she started crying. She was telling to us that my cousin who is a graduating as Radiology Technician (last March 2017) something happened at her school. It started when one of the staffs of school administration called up my mom and requesting her to come the next day to meet the school officials to discuss about my cousin's case. My mom came and met them and discussed what is all about
they informed my mom about my cousin’s tuition balance from mid of her 3rd year and whole year of 4th year that have not been paid and my cousins made some falsifications of documents
..so the admin decided to expel her.. and that moment my mom couldn’t hold her tears and begged to everyone to give a chance to my cousin for whatever consequences she have made. She was begging and kneeling down and showing to them that she never failed to send the school fees and allowances
showing the copy of remittances sent thru exchange since her 1st year college.
As I was listening to my mom, I tried not to cry in front of her but deep in my heart i was crying out loud. My mom was so kind. So many instances that she fooled my mom, making any alibis and why it reached to the point that it could affect even her studies. To make the story short, my cousin was included in the class graduation rights last March 2017 but protocol of the school that she can’t come up in the stage to get her certificate and will be able to collect only her Transfer of Records and must settle some balances within a year after the graduation.
While coming back to Abu Dhabi I cant hold back my tears. I can see the stressed that my mom is having until now. My mom is 65 years old and she should be relaxing now after her retirement as school principal. Why these people cant pay back the sacrifices that my mom done to them or even at least respect to their olds? I told her that I will try to save some money to get her a visa to at least take vacation here in UAE. She sacrifice a lot and its enough! We owe a lot from our dearest MOM. We Owe her a lot😘😘😘❤❤❤
