Well then what about Kissing? What about "making out" for an hour and a half until our lips bleed? Kissing ought to be a giving experience. "Because i love you i want to give you a kiss." But Let's face it, it can become a taking experience that causes us to want more and more.

You will begin you want more and more. You'll begin to want to go further by unbuttoning, unzipping, unsnapping, untying, unVelcroning, ungluing, unbolting -

Your kisses ought to be valuable. You shouldn't just hand them out like handshakes, because if you really end up liking the person, what are you going to give next - A kiss ? #No, You have already given out.

So am i Saying kissing is a sin ?

No, I am not saying kissing is a sin, but where does the Bible say that to have a healthy relationship, you must be involved Physically? Nowhere. As a matter of fact, some of the unHealthiest relationships are primarily physical.

The world ought to see a difference in the relationship of Christians, Yes , This Post is about Christian Dating Relationships . We need to stand out as light in a darkening world.

As you are setting your standards in your Christian relationships please keep in mind Colossians 3 : 17:

"And whatever you do, whether in a word or deed. do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

If it does not glorify Jesus Christ, then don't do it.

If you took that seriously, what would your standards be ?.

Our Standards should be so high that the world and our friends notice a distinct difference. Then when they question us, we can tell them about Jesus and how he has made a difference in our lives.

The bottom Line is that i am trying to please God and so are you , so no matter what other people say or are doing, your final Authority for life ad living is in the Word of God. If anyone contradicts the Word of God. The they are wrong.

About the "taking experience ", while dating giving a kiss to "show appreciation", or a kiss to make the other "person special" because you want to and feel it, That is giving, you don't owe your partner a kiss. When it leads to unbolting, ungluing, or undressing when not in marriage, it takes your worth, respect with God.

Trying to be precise and not miss the point, :)

This is an interesting point of discussion. I will say it's dependent on the motive but when it comes to romance between unmarried couples it's wrong.. From my little point of view tho

It is a good post, and I totally agree with you that Christian dating should look different than the world. Kissing, hugging and holding hands should be the only physical things allowed for a Christian couple. So kissing is definitely not wrong but definitely not kissing till your lips bleed and not kissing till you have reached the point of "no return".
